Garage Door Upgrades: Practical Improvements, March 2026 Installation Round-Up

March 2026 was one of our busiest months yet, with a strong mix of sectional upgrades, coordinated installations and classic replacements across Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Here is a selection of the work our engineers completed.

Teckentrup Georgian Woodgrain Sectional, Umbra Grey

This customer in Tilehurst wanted a traditional look with modern performance. We fitted a Teckentrup sectional in Umbra Grey (RAL 7022) with a Georgian woodgrain panel design. The insulated 42mm panels deliver excellent thermal performance while the woodgrain embossing gives the appearance of painted timber, without the upkeep.

Teckentrup Sectional, Anthracite Grey

Anthracite grey continues to be the most popular colour we fit, and this smooth-finish Teckentrup sectional in Caversham is a great example of why. Clean lines, full automation with a Teckentrup motor, and outstanding kerb appeal. The customer upgraded from an ageing canopy up-and-over and immediately noticed the difference in insulation and quietness.

Garador Salisbury Up and Over with Crystal Windows

Not every project needs a full sectional. This Garador Salisbury in white was the perfect fit for a customer in Woodley who wanted an affordable replacement with a design feature. The crystal-effect windows let daylight into the garage without compromising privacy.

Ryterna Front Door and Side-Hinged Garage Door, RAL 7040

Coordinating your front door and garage door is one of the simplest ways to lift the whole front of a property. We fitted a Ryterna RD80 aluminium front door alongside a matching Ryterna side-hinged garage door, both in Window Grey (RAL 7040). The result is a cohesive, contemporary entrance.

Teckentrup Side Hinged, Steel Blue

Steel Blue (RAL 5011) is an increasingly popular choice for customers who want something bolder than grey but not as stark as black. This Teckentrup side-hinged pair in Pangbourne features insulated panels and flush-fitting handles.

Triple Teckentrup Sectional, Quartz Grey

A large property in South Oxfordshire needed three matching garage doors. We supplied and fitted three Teckentrup sectional doors in Quartz Grey (RAL 7039), all fully automated. The consistency across the facade makes a real statement.

Garador Up and Over, Fir Green

Fir Green (RAL 6009) is a classic countryside colour and this Garador canopy door suited the rural Oxfordshire property perfectly. A straightforward replacement that the customer was delighted with.
