Sectional Garage Doors.
Sectional garage doors are built from horizontal panels hinged together that lift vertically and slide back along the garage ceiling. They open without swinging outward, so you can park right up to the door, and they deliver the strongest insulation and security of any common garage door type. Wolverine fits Hörmann, Garador, Ryterna and Teckentrup sectionals across the Thames Valley.

Why choose this type
Why sectional garage doors make sense.
Maximum opening
Vertical operation means no swing-out, full use of the driveway right up to the garage face.
Insulation
Sandwich panels with PU foam core (40-42mm typical) deliver class-leading thermal and acoustic performance.
Security
Multi-point locking, lift-up resistance, and reinforced sections. Most carry police-preferred security ratings.
Design choice
Smooth, ribbed, woodgrain, micro-rib, planar, the broadest range of design panels of any door type.
Quiet operation
Soft-running rollers in steel tracks. With electric operation, sectional doors are remarkably quiet.
Headroom flexibility
Available in low-headroom and high-lift configurations to fit any garage geometry.

FAQ
Common questions about sectional garage doors.
- Can you automate my existing door?
- It depends on your door type. We can automate existing up-and-over doors by fitting an electric operator. For sectional and roller doors we can replace or upgrade the motor operator. Side-hinged doors cannot be automated, the mechanism does not support electric operation. Call us and we will confirm what is possible for your specific door.
- Do you install front doors too?
- Yes, Comp Door composite front doors and Ryterna aluminium front doors. Many customers match a new front door to a new garage door.
- Do you offer finance?
- Yes, through Ideal4Finance. Typical plans are 0% over 12 months on installs over £2,000.
- Do you remove the old door?
- Yes, every quote includes removal and ethical disposal of your existing door. We recycle the steel and aluminium where possible.
- How long does a typical garage door installation take?
- A standard replacement (sectional or up-and-over) takes around 4-6 hours on a single visit. Roller doors with full automation can be 6-8 hours. Side-hinged with frame replacement is usually a full day.
- What if my door breaks outside working hours?
- Call the main line and leave a message with 'urgent'. For total failures we aim to attend same-day or next-morning.
